Construction of ThermalBuilt R-10®  Doors

Our newest line - ThermalBuilt R-10 doors provide a R10 thermal value and are available in flush hardboard and flush birch.  They carry the Energy Star Label and help to earn points under LEED and the NAHB Model Green Home Building Guidelines

Construction of ThermalBuilt R-5®  Doors

ThermalBuilt R-5 insulated doors are manufactured by Matthews Millwork using carefully selected components to the customer’s specific requirements. Whether hardboard, wood, or panel skins are used, the same thermal quality is achieved. All ThermalBuilt R-5 products are NFRC certified and comply with the 2006 International Energy Code. Each door is “branded” to aid Building Inspectors in identifying the original quality product. They all carry a NFRC certification sticker and the Energy Star label.

Construction of PermaBuilt®  Doors

Our PermaBuilt exterior doors are engineered to withstand the elements. Fiberglass doors (flush or panel, smooth or textured) are available in any size mounted on exterior grade or 100% polyvinyl chloride (PVC) jamb.

PVC – Matthews Millwork is one of the first door companies to offer a “no rot” door in any size made entirely of a synthetic material (polyvinyl chloride (PVC)) that is virtually maintenance free. These doors will not rot and are paintable. They are backed by a 100% guarantee.

We also offer standard Hollow Core doors. These are available in the same styles and textures as the ThermalBuilt R-5 raised panel doors and may be hung on weather-stripped or double rabbeted jamb. Hollow Core doors are not Energy Star rated products.
